Chris Starr is a graphic designer with over 10 years design industry experience. He has worked in private and government design studios, most recently for the Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art as lead designer. Projects include exhibition branding, catalogues, marketing and educational collateral. Chris has won numerous awards from Museums Australia, Brisbane Art Directors Club and most recently a Design Institute of Australia (Queensland) Awards 2008 ‘Best in Show’ for his work on the publication ‘Katharina Grosse: Picture Park’. Chris has a Bachelor of Design Studies from the Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.
Fiona Lee has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator since 2002. She has worked primarily in the areas of children’s exhibition branding, mascots, activity books and children’s computer game graphics at the Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art. Fiona has also designed retail packaging, mugs and notebooks for Artforum’s ‘Momiji Doll’ range. Fiona has received many awards, most notably her ‘Best in Show’ at the Design Institute of Australia (Queensland) Awards 2006 for her work on the ‘Kusama’s World of Dots’ interactive. Fiona has a Bachelor of Design Studies from the Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.
Ryan Taylor is a web and multimedia developer. He has worked in design, web and multimedia studios in both the private and government sectors. His most recent project was the complete redesign, redevelopment and implementation of the Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art website. Other projects include children’s interactive design, online user generated gallery tours and online media centres.
